COVID Safety Information
COVID SAFETY INFORMATION
The league will enforce COVID-19 precautions this season. All individuals entering and exiting the facilities MUST wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth. All attendees, including league staff, coaches, and officials, MUST always wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth. Players, while participating in the game, do not have to wear a mask. Players MUST have individual water bottles. Coaches are responsible for cleaning their bench of water bottles and garbage after each game. The league will provide hand sanitizer. The league will frequently sanitize the game ball during each game. Each facility will have a designated entrance and exit. Other precautions will be instituted as needed or required.
Temperatures will be taken for ALL persons entering the facilities. Persons with temperatures reading 100.4 degrees or higher will not be permitted to enter the facilities.
Masks are required for all persons entering the facilities and must always be worn.
Masks are required for all league officials, basketball officials (when necessary), coaches and players.
Masks are required for all players while on the bench.
Hand sanitizer will be provided for league officials, coaches, basketball officials and players.
League basketballs will be periodically sanitized.
Players are encouraged to bring their own water bottle.
Entering and Exiting the Facility for Coaches and Players
Coaches will gather their team and enter as a team from the parking lot entrance through the double doors on the right of the facility. Masks must be worn and practice social distancing. Upon entry each coach and player will have their temperature taken. Any person with a temperature exceeding 100.4 degrees will not be permitted access.
Coaches will escort their team to the holding area to the right of the basketball court. Parents and spectators are not permitted in this area at any time.
Once the league sanitizes the basketball court area then the teams scheduled to play will be permitted to enter the playing surface.
Upon completion of your game your team will move to the holding area to the left of the basketball court. Parents and spectators are not permitted in this area at any time.
Entering and Exiting the Facility for Parents and Spectators
Parents and spectators MUST wait to enter the facility until both teams have been screened and moved to the holding area.
Upon entry all person must wear a mask and practice social distancing. Each person will be have their temperatures taken. Any person with a temperature exceeding 100.4 degrees will not be permitted access.
Following the screening all spectators including parents must go directly to the spectator seating area.
Chairs will be arranged in groups of two, three and four to accommodate families. DO NOT move the chairs. The chairs follow the CDC guidelines for social distancing.
All spectators must remain seated during the game including children. Spectators and children will not be permitted to roam the facility.
Upon completion of your game all spectators will immediately exit the facility. Spectators including parents are not permitted in the holding areas with the teams at any time.
Gathering within the facility including the lobby area is not permitted.
Once the prior teams exit the facility the next teams’ parents and spectators will be granted access to the facility.
Currently there are no limitations on the number of spectators per player.
League officials may require additional safety protocols as deemed necessary.
